Councilmember Joe Mosca and I enthusiastically invite you to join co-hosts Encinitas Union School Board Trustee Rimga Viskanta, Francine Busby and Barb Bolton for a fundraiser on Sunday, December 17 from 1-3 p.m. to support our City Council colleague, Tasha Boerner Horvath, in her run for California State Assembly District 76. 

Ask your questions, plum her expertise, become inspired!  Just one year from the next election is the time when all the chess pieces are organizing on the board. Help support the best candidate early, when it makes a big difference.

There’s no minimum, but if each guest contributes at least $100, we should be able to reach our goal of $5,000. These funds will help Tasha register voters, go door to door, and provide campaign resources to our community – all things critical to victory.

The California Political Reform Act (Proposition 34) places limits on contributions to candidates for state office and imposes certain prohibitions. This request does not seek a contribution in exceeds of applicable limits or from prohibited sources. An individual, corporation, union, PAC, and other entities may contribute a maximum of $4,400 to the committee per election (primary and general). A registered Small Contributor Committee may contribute a maximum of $8,800 per election. Contributions are not deductible for tax purposes.
